On Friday 1st Dec 2023, we hosted our busiest party to date!
100 tickets were advertised on our website (we never thought they would all go, we were not fully prepared for this!). As tickets were selling faster than usual, we made the decision to get a bigger venue late Oct/early Nov. By the second week of Nov we had no tickets left on our website.
Multiple emails/messages were coming in from people wanting to attend the party, so we did open up a few more "door tickets". We agreed to open up 10 more..
However the messages/ emails continued coming in - by the time we had the party we had sold 117 tickets and unfortunately had to turn quite alot of people away.
We arrived at the venue nice and early to set everything up- we hired someone to do Christmas balloons, and we needed to re arrange the seating arrangements. At 7.50pm security informed us that there was a queue forming outside.
As always FeeturedPhotos took a couple of pictures and videos of me before we opened the doors.
At 8pm promptly we opened the doors and quite alot of people came in. It was lovely meeting lots of new faces- we had people that travelled from all over the Uk and abroad from countries such as Spain, France, Canada, Dubai and a few other places to attend BossyPaw.
I did feel overwhelmed at times as generally speaking I like to greet all the guests- but there were so many people I don't think I managed to say hello to everyone.
As the night progressed I saw that almost everyone was enjoying themselves, lots of socialising was taking place, lots of foot worshipping, good music- perfect vibes.
I really wanted to get a group photo with the ladies standing up whilst men were beneath our feet- I managed to do this. All the pictures will be uploaded on BossyPaw website.
Just after 11pm we had our raffles - congratulations to all the winners.
Overall it was a fantastic evening, I am super proud that we have managed to created a safe, fun and friendly space for the foot community and that BossyPaw is becoming more and more popular.
